Biography

Jon Taylor

Jon joined the Board of Forester Life Limited in December 2021. Before that he held the role of CEO of Ascentric, a funds platform serving the IFA market. Jon was also CEO of Co-operative Life Insurance which he ran throughout the merger with Royal London.

During his career Jon has been involved in many aspects of financial services including retail banking, life insurance, long-term savings, pensions, general insurance, and investment management. He has had a particular focus on IT and business centric transformation, building upon his early IT career involving work in industry, consultancy at IBM, and academia where he taught Computer Science at the University of Manchester.

Jon now divides his time between work as a non-executive director and providing management consultancy to financial services and large professional services companies such as PwC and Accenture.
